Open call for Carmencita Artists Residency

La ONG opens its doors to the international community of artists, curators, critics, theorics and other cultural agents whose practice and approach are related to contemporary art.

We are a self-sustained non-profit organization where young people from different social backgrounds get instructed. Our center is a photography  school, but at the moment we offer workshops in other areas, such as screen-printing, experimental cinema, theater, performance, poetry, creative writing, journalism, musical production, among others. Currently we serve as a cultural space. We count with three exhibit rooms, public library, audio studio, screen-printing workshop, photography studio and two analog photography labs. We offer an agenda of cultural activities related to the reflection of new languages. We constantly host meeting, projections, functions, theater plays or performances, gatherings, among others. This way La ONG operates as a sounding board for proposals and peripheral speeches that generally do not fit in other spaces, we are “the space of those who have no space”.
